A wedding happens once in a life time to most of us. Wedding pictures we receive will be ours forever, without a chance to redo.
You would not accept a new car, which has parts clearly not matching with windows, which do not fully close and etc. That car would be yours most likely for less than 5 or 10 years and then you move on to another one.
WHY would you settle on wedding picture with basic imperfections, when they are to stay with you forever. We trust that when we hired a photographer, we hire a pro, especially when we pay above average rate. It is often not the case and below average work gets acceptance at every price point. It happens simple because photography basics and quality are NOT understood by many photographers, not to mention couples who get married.
I have spent years learning photography basics and advanced techniques, now teaching them. I am still open to learn more and rise my technical bar with every wedding.
Photography is about lighting, moments, colors and composition. Those areas should approach perfection as the photography rate increases.
This is my moral obligation as a wedding photographer.
