I am not a salesperson and I can live without my phone. 
I can not live without my children, mountain biking, drumming, progressive rock, good food and good coffee.

I will not start by saying that I took my first picture at the age of four or six. No, it happened much later when I was close to 30 years old. That first picture was a “terrible one” as I heard from a family member, a photographer. I took that comment to my heart and decided to learn on my own what a good picture looks like. 
It took me many years of study and practice to understand what makes a good picture especially how to create interesting lighting.
Fast forward a few years, I quit my job and created Kolen Photography. 
Now, my studio offers unique, high-end quality artistic documentary without that high-end sticker price.
I have photographed over 500 awesome weddings and have to say that I can still feel that exciting spark I had at the beginning.

My photography service is about catching that moment in a creative way. Individual expectations are always my priority. I always strive to go beyond typical photography to tell the wedding story with unique, interesting lighting and create one when it is naturally missing. 
When I document a wedding I focus on moments, big and small, details and always pay attention to lighting, colors, shapes and composition. 
Wedding day is often the most important day in a couple's life.
